Iris Ruth Pastor is more than an aging baby boomer and the mother of five adult sons, ages 27-41. She is also a wife, daughter, sister and friend. And in recent years, Iris has become a mother-in-law, grandmother and empty-nester. Like all of us, she is the sum total of her experiences.
Iris Ruth Pastor has been consistently entertaining people for years:
First, as a syndicated, slice-of-life columnist under the moniker, “Incidentally, Iris.”
Second, as co-author with her mother of Slices, Bites and Other Facts of Life.
Third, as a sought-after inspirational speaker to audiences nation-wide, focusing on coping, soaring and living fully and joyously, in spite of hurdles, challenges and set-backs.
Fourth, as the host of her own radio talk show, “Sunday Night with Iris.”
Fifth, as the managing editor of The American Israelite.
And, at present, a contributing blogger and skype interviewer with Let My People Grow and the current director of the Young Adult Division of Tampa Jewish Federation.
Iris Pastor resides in Tampa, Florida and hails originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she grew up and married the scrawny little kid in the first row of her second grade class picture – the one wearing the rumpled Davy Crockett T-shirt.
